Ray Parks scores first NBA D-League basket
Bobby Ray Parks Jr. finally scored his first ever basket in the NBA D-League, but his team Texas Legends still bowed to the Sioux Falls Skyforce, 76-86, last weekend.
Parks converted a putback with 14.5 seconds left in the first quarter that trimmed the deficit to three points, 16-19.
It would be his only basket of the game. Parks missed his three other field goals although he added three rebounds and one assist in six minutes of playing time.
The former two-time UAAP Most Valuable Player was selected 25th overall by the Legends in the NBA D-League draft, but so far, he has only played in four of their 10 games, averaging 0.5 point, 1.8 rebounds, and 0.5 assist in 7.5 minutes of action per game.
The Legends currently have a 5-5 win-loss record, third in the Southwest Division.
