Maria Aragon sings 'Ave Maria' with Winnipeg orchestra

MANILA – Filipino-Canadian singer Maria Aragon had the honor of performing “Ave Maria” with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra early this month.
The 15-year-old’s stunning performance before an audience of over 2,000 people at the Centennial Hall in Winnipeg was filmed and audio recorded by We Love Free Music.
Dubbed as Aragon’s “greatest performance,” the music website is offering the singer’s performance available for download at www.welovefreemusic.com just in time for Christmas.

We Love Free Music boasts of being “the first company in the history of the Internet to allow the entire nation of the Philippines and the world to stream and download content totally for free without any advertising or any requirement for personal information” through their website.
Aragon shot to Internet celebrity status in 2011 after her YouTube video of Lady Gaga's song “Born This Way” caught the pop superstar's attention.
Lady Gaga posted Aragon's video on her official Twitter account and described the young Fil-Canadian as “the future."
Since then, Aragon’s music career has taken off. She already appeared in the hit US talk show "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and "Good Morning America."
She has also performed with the former Prime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper at her home in Winnipeg, and has performed for Kate Middleton and Prince William, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, among others.
